by Beth Chatto

First published in 1989, some 30 years after Beth Chatto started creating her now infamous gardens, Green Tapestry has now been bought up to date with the aid of David Ward and Åsa Gregers-Warg.
In the Green Tapestry, Beth takes the reader on a tour of her gardens, exploring the plant choices made and her experiences in creating the gardens. Beth’s gardens are widely celebrated as some of the first to planted with sustainability in mind, know in the midst of climate change the gardens and Beth’s writing are more poignant then ever.
Head Gardener Åsa Gregers-Warg will be visiting Wildegoose on Tuesday 14th June to give a lecture on the Beth Chatto Gardens, Past, Present and Future. Please see courses for further details.
